Builders

These agencies design, build, and operate transportation in the Houston area.

Communities

While cities build some roads, they are also interested parties to transportation projects built by county and state government. Often, they have little control over those projects and must lobby counties and the state to make their views heard. Neighborhood associations have no influence expect through political means.

Advocates

Interest groups represent a wide variety of viewpoints and weigh in on all sides of transportation issues. They can be quite powerful through political access, force of numbers, or outspokenness.
